1. How does the rental process work?

  • Gearbooker Rentals: After making the payment and completing the verification process on Gearbooker, you can pick up the rented items from our office in Antibes.

  • Direct Bookings: For direct bookings, we require a security deposit equal to the item’s value, either via cheque or online card verification. Once the deposit is secured, you can pick up the equipment.

2. Do you deliver the equipment, or is it pick-up only?

  • Pick-Up: You can always pick up the equipment from our office in Antibes.

  • Delivery: We offer delivery and pick-up services for an additional fee of €0.50 per kilometer (round trip from Antibes). Delivery is subject to team availability and shoot schedules. For cinema cameras and larger productions, we usually send our crew along with the equipment.

3. What items are available for rent?

  • We offer a wide range of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other accessories. Please visit our Gearbooker profile or contact us directly for a full list of available items.

4. How do I reserve the equipment?

  • Gearbooker: You can reserve the equipment directly through our Gearbooker profile. After payment and verification, the items will be reserved for your dates.

  • Direct Booking: For direct bookings, please contact us with your required items, dates, and shoot location. We will confirm availability and proceed with the booking process.

5. What if I need to cancel my reservation?

  • Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions specified on Gearbooker for bookings made through the platform. For direct bookings, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss cancellation policies.

6. Is an assistant or operator provided with the rental?

  • Standard Rentals: Our standard rentals do not include an operator or assistant.

  • Cinema Cameras/Large Productions: For cinema cameras or large productions, our crew will typically deliver the equipment and can operate it if needed, depending on the project’s requirements.

7. What forms of payment do you accept?

  • For Gearbooker rentals, all payments are handled through the Gearbooker platform. For direct bookings, we accept online payments, bank transfers, or cheques.

8. Do you require a security deposit?

  • Gearbooker: No additional security deposit is required beyond the platform’s processes.

  • Direct Booking: Yes, we require a security deposit equal to the value of the rented item(s). This can be secured via cheque or online card verification.

9. What happens if the equipment is damaged during the rental period?

  • The renter is responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period. We recommend securing insurance for high-value items or large productions. Specific terms will be outlined in the rental agreement.

10. What do I need to provide to rent equipment?

  • For Gearbooker rentals, the platform will guide you through the necessary verification steps. For direct bookings, we require identification and payment of the security deposit.

11. Can I extend the rental period?

  • Extensions are possible if the equipment is available. Please contact us as early as possible to arrange an extension. Additional charges will apply.

12. What locations do you serve?

  • We are based in Antibes, South of France, and primarily serve the French Riviera and Monaco in addition to surrounding areas of Dept. 06 and 83. We can deliver equipment to other locations, but additional delivery fees may apply.

13. What should I do if I encounter issues with the equipment?

  • Please contact us immediately if you encounter any issues. We will provide support or a replacement if necessary, depending on availability and the nature of the issue.
